Gabriela Stanescu, 53, of NYC passed away on Saturday February 19, 2022 at home following a long, hard-fought battle with a brain tumor.

Resident of NYC since her college years, Gabriela was born in Bucharest, Romania and moved to the United States with her family when she was a child. Gabriela was an event coordinator and an avid lover of dogs, the outdoors, and expressing her creativity through painting. She is survived by her partner Harry; her aunt Lucia, uncle Mihai, cousins Daniela and family, Radu and family, Valentin, Jenica and family, Laurentiu and family, Beatrice and her husband Shigueru.

Visitation will be held at the Dolan Funeral Home at 1140 Washington Street, DORCHESTER LOWER MILLS on Thursday, February 24th from 11:00am-12:00pm. Funeral Service at 12pm. Interment at Forest Hills Cemetery.
