Frederick S. Jones Jr., born September 20, 1949 in Washington, DC to the late Frederick Sr. and Evelyn Jones.

Sonou joined the Marine Corp and after a brief stint he became a Boston cab driver. He then relocated to Connecticut for a few years and return to Boston. Sonou leaves behind his wife Nettie, and two daughters Kanya and Nadiyah and lots of family and friends.
