Obituary for Fred Sapp

Fred L. Sapp (Freddie) was born on May 10, 1943 in Florida to the late Perry Sapp (Florida)and the late Elease Robinson (Georgia). He is survived by his loving sister Connie German. Fred leaves to mourn his 5 children: Nichelle Jenkins, Keasha Jenkins, Trishelle Jenkins, Shauntay Simmons and Devon Simmons, all of Boston. Seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He also leaves to mourn his one surviving aunt Bobi Cochran of Georgia. He is also lovingly survived by a host of cousins and friends.

Fred was known as Freddie to his family and friends, He worked for Harvard University in Cambridge, MA for many years until his retirement. He loved to attend family reunions, playing chess, dominoes, watching western movies and listening to old school music.

Freddie adored his children and grandchildren. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure to have known and loved him.

Visiting hour on Friday March 14th from 10-11 AM in the Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington Street, Dorchester Lower Mills. Funeral Service in the funeral home at 11 AM.

Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Hyde Park.
