Very sad to hear of Franks passing. My father worked next door at Granite City Hardware for many years. As a teenager I remember Frank coming into the store. In recent years he would pull up in his Durango to our shop to have locks worked on from his apartments. Everyone in the shop enjoyed his company. Always a kind happy man, he will be missed. As one of his tenants, I had the privilege of knowing him not just as a landlord, but as a friend. Mr. Frank was an exceptional individual who embodied hard work, kindness, and humility. He always went out of his way to help, whether it was promptly addressing any concerns I had or taking the time to play with my 3-year-old son, whom he fondly referred to as his friend. We were so sad to hear of Mr. Frank' s passing. He has been a part of our lives for many years starting with me and then our children and then our grandchildren. We now have a great grandchild and are sad that he will not have the privilege of knowing Mr. Frank He was already missed when he retired but will be remembered as the happy and kind man doing what he loved best, making us all look good. I first went to Frank in 1964 when I was still in high school. Meeting Frank and then Tony was like discovering extended members of my own family who were also of Sicilian decent. I believe my brother Stephen being older and driving discovered Frank and Tony and we initially would go together. When my brother moved to Pennsylvania after medical school there wasn't a time when Frank didn't asked first about my brother and when my brother passed during Covid we grieved together. When Frank retired and then Tony passed there was and still is an empty space in my life that comes close to losing an actual family member. My condolences to the Boncaldo family who should be consoled that Frank was loved and respected by all who knew him. May he Rest in God's Eternal Peace and as the Old Testament prayer goes upon the passing of a loved one, " when you think of your loved one Frank may his memory be a blessing."

Frank was our landlord on South Street in Quincy. He was a great person who cared about his tenants; would fix things in the building and once restored heat during a cold snowy night at 3am. A true gentleman, will be misssed by all.

Frank cut my hair from the day I was born in 1961-1985. Tony cut my father's hair (Stanley Sorkin) for close to 45 years. Tony also cut my brother's hair. Frank was a true gentleman. I paid him a visit after many years of not seeing him in 2019. And of course, I sat in the chair and got a haircut. My entire family knew Frank-we will miss him. -Steve Sorkin

Frank cut my son's hair at Designer for years. He was always the perfectionist to be sure the haircut was done right. We always enjoyed the stories he used to tell. We will always remember him as the ultimate gentleman. Rest in peace, Frank.
