Obituary for Frances P. Conde

Frances P. Conde, 77, of South Boston passed away May 16, 2024, with her loving family by her side.

Fran was born and raised in South Boston with her two sisters. After graduating from High School, she went on to have a long career as a nurse’s aide to the elderly. Later in life as a retirement job she managed a laundromat in South Boston where she was loved by all her customers.

Fran’s compassion always extended beyond family and friends. She loved animals, but most especially her dogs Vegas and Milton. She was a very generous person and would give you her last dime, truly a caring person.

Beloved mother of Mark Conde of South Boston and his wife Amy. Loving sister of Sharon Walsh and aunt of Crystal (Walsh) Kenney and her husband Michael Kenney all of South Boston. Fran was predeceased by her parents Francis and Margaret (Kenney) Conde and her sister Maryann Valenchuck of South Boston.

Family and friends are invited to the visiting hours at Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Avenue, EAST MILTON SQUARE, Thursday May 23, 2024, from 5-8 PM. The burial at a later date will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Fran’s memory may be made to South Boston Kids and Young Adults Corporation through DonateStock.

    Mark, Fran loved you more than any of her other children! You and Amy were there to support her when she needed it. You couldn't have asked for a better mother and she couldn't have asked for a better son. Fran will be missed, as well as continued to be loved! Jimbo
