Father Joe was such a good and holy man. I first met him when he served our parish of Our Lady Queen of Peace in NJ. Compassionate and genuine he was always serving others whether through the church or as a funeral director or in his ministries in Boston. I will miss him terribly but know that he is finally at peace and pain free. RIP Fr Joe

I've known Father through my attendance at the 6AM for many years. He was always the warmest and gentlest of souls whose love for God and for all of us was ever present. The only time I met him was at a St. Anthony's function where I told him I knew what his homily was going to be as I too had the Mission/Vision 2000 books and we shared a heartfelt laugh together. My condolences to all who had the blessing of knowing him.

I am very sorry to learn of Father Quinn's passing when I did not seem him scheduled this week. He was a very thoughtful and kind friar despite his own health problems. He always would give a meaningful quotation from the Bible after going to confession which I kept in my wallet. I know that he is now receiving his eternal reward after a life devoted to serving others and is continuing to pray for us. Thank you Father Quinn.

Dear Fr Joe's Brother Ron and Mary and family and to all the Friars at St. Anthony Shrine. I offer my sincere sympathy to you all. Fr Joe always came back from his many times in the hospital and I would always say to him God does not want you yet. Sadly God did call you home and now you are needed in heaven . You will be missed and you always were so kind in remembering my Eric in heaven . I never forget the beautiful 30th Memorial mass you did in my sons honor and all the other masses you offered for my son. Your kindness in prayer is what I cherish now . I so believe you will meet my Eric in heaven after you are reunited with your Mom and dad and your other family members that have gone before you. Thank you and rest easy in the loving arms of our Lord whom you served so well on this earth. I will never forget you and your great kindness to me during my darkest days always Your friend sincerely Lois
