Obituary for Evelyn G. (Holland) Keohan

Evelyn G. (Holland) Keohan of Milton, passed away peacefully at Harbor House in Hingham on January 25, 2026, at the age of 85.

Daughter of the late James and Evelyn (Reardon) Holland. Loving mother of Deborah Sullivan and her husband Steve of Weymouth, Joseph Keohan, Jr. of Weymouth, Janice Sarofeen and her husband Fred of Braintree, Sean Keohan and his wife Kate of Milton, Kevin Keohan of Quincy and Kerri Ricci and her husband Mark of Weymouth. She leaves 14 grandchildren, Steven and Elizabeth Sullivan, Courtney Sedkov, Megan, and Brian Keohan, Caitlin Baker, Fred Sarofeen III, and Brittany Fontes, Sean and Liam Keohan, Brendan Keohan, and Mark, Colin and Drew Ricci. She is also survived by her 9 great-grandchildren, Troy, Harris, Krystianna, Isabella, Jazmya, Kenneth Jr., Noelle, Finn, and Maisie.

Evelyn was raised in St. Mark’s Parish and was a graduate of Cardinal Cushing High School Class of 1958. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend who kept family at the center of her life. She was a homemaker for many years; she worked at Milton Hospital as a Switchboard Operator and held other jobs in the Milton community to support her family. She was a Boston sports fan, enjoyed cooking, loved crafts and her favorite hobby was knitting. While raising her children, she enjoyed spending time in Marshfield at her summer cottage. She was devoted to her faith and was an active member of St. Elizabeth Church where she served as Eucharistic Minister and taught CCD for many years.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Visitation Parish, Saint Elizabeth Church, 350 Reedsdale Road, Milton Monday February 2, 2026, at 11:30 AM. Family and friends invited. A visitation will be held at Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Avenue, EAST MILTON SQUARE, prior to the mass from 9:30 – 11:00 AM. Interment Milton Cemetery.
