Eula Hayling, of Dorchester passed away peacefully on December 27, 2022 with her daughters by her side. She was 80 years old.

Beloved wife of the late Winston Hayling. Daughter of the late Danley and Iona Cummings. Loving mother of Wendy and Lindy Cummings. Sister of Philbert Cummings, Ellis Cummings, Everald Cummings, Troy Miller and the late Lyneth and Yvette Cummings. Eula is also lovingly survived by many nieces, nephews, close friends and extended family.

Eula was born April 11, 1942, in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago where she lived until the 70s. After migrating to the United States, she settled in Boston where she and her husband raised their daughters. Eula enjoyed life and had many pastimes, but shopping was on the top of her list. On Saturdays she would head out to Filenes Basement to find all the best bargains and deals. She enjoyed music, Nat King Cole, and Steelpan band. Eula loved cooking, especially for the holidays, making traditional Black Cake and food with all the fixings, she would make sure everyone got something to take home. She looked forward to the Caribbean Festival every year where she always had the best and colorful outfit to wear. Most of all Eula loved her family who were the cornerstone of her life. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure to have known and loved her.

Visiting will be on Tuesday January 3rd from 11AM-12PM in the Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington Street, Dorchester Lower Mills. Funeral Service will follow at 12PM in the Funeral Home. Interment Private.
