Well due to geographical differences our contact was very limited. But the couple of visits from N.Y. to Boston was always great and pleasant ,ESPECIALLY the Lasagna she cooked for me and it was too good to share with anyone else!!! A Beautiful Aunt I must say and surely missed by other family members.... Love... Alfred Andrews JR.. aka( TOPPER ) 3/21/26 Rochester NY

I just found out about my Nana today and my heart is so broken. You treated all of us, your grandchildren, like royalty and you always made sure we were fed whether we were hungry or not. Thank you for always having positive things to say about me from the moment I walked through the door until the moment I left. If I didn't know anything else, I knew my Nana loved me! And nobody could tell me I was ugly because you always made sure I knew that I was beautiful. Though you didn't know it, I was calling to check on you through my Father. I had to call and check on him too because I know just how much he loves you. I don't even want to see him hurt from losing you. He let me know a few times that your time was coming, but still, hearing the news made my heart immediately drop and I'm just sad now. You've been on this earth my whole life and it doesn't ever seem like that will change, until it actually does. I can hear your voice right now, asking me multiple times if I want something to eat. I tell you no each time and then you make me a full course meal anyway plus dessert, plus some to take home lol. I ruined my diet every time I came to your house (laughs) but that's ok because I know that was your way of showing that you loved me. Everything made from scratch. You were the best cook in the entire world hands down and the best Nana. Thank you for loving me unconditionally. Though I am out of state it was not too far for our love to reach one another. I'm in tears now as I write because all of the memories are flooding back. You were beautiful inside and out and you will never, ever, ever be forgotten. There was never a moment that I didn't feel like a treasured jewel when I was with you. I thank God for blessing me to be your grandchild. I love you always and forever. Your granddaughter, Jaquay Nkenge' Parks
