Obituary for Erin M. Martin

Erin M. Martin of Attleboro, formerly of Taunton and Rockland, passed away on September 12, at the age of 43.

Born and raised in Rockland to the late Linda M. (Smith) Martin-Vitt and Edward W. Martin; Erin was the proud mother of Devon E. Smith of Troy, NH, Madison K. Smith of Rockland, and Tatum M. Martin of Taunton. Beloved sister of Elizabeth M. Martin of Taunton and Marissa A. Martin of Michigan. She is survived by her partner, Christopher Moss of Attleboro, her step-mother Robyn Martin of Taunton, and many cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.

A graduate of Rockland High School, class of 2000, Erin took pride in her strong work ethic, whether it was managing a successful restaurant or caring for patients as a CNA. She loved a good sitcom (especially Roseanne,) murder-mysteries, the Celtics, and in recent years, found hope and faith in her bible and attending various churches, regardless of the denomination.

Erin made friends wherever she went and her smile will be missed by all that knew her.

May the road rise to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, the rains fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Services will be private and a celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
