Elizabeth “Betty Ann” (DiLando) Schnell peacefully passed away surrounded by her devoted and caring family Friday February 26, 2021.

She was born November 16, 1955 in Boston, Massachusetts to Enfilio “Hoppy” and Betty (McNeil) DiLando. Betty Ann was a graduate of St. Gregory’s School in Dorchester in 1973. A long-time medical administrator, she retired in 2011. She was an avid reader and loved watching British mysteries and baking shows. She learned to knit when she was young and made treasured blankets and hats for her grandchildren and the animal shelter. Betty Ann and Ted wintered in Boynton Beach, Florida with many of their life-long cherished friends. She loved spending time by the ocean and especially when the beach roses were in bloom. A devoted loving grandmother “Nanny” to eight grandchildren, she made each one feel like they were the most special person in the whole wide world.
