Sister Eileen Cunniffe was a genuinely sweet, kind, considerate, thoughtful person in every way. She was absolutely the BEST TEACHER any student could ever ask for while attending St. Michael's Parochial School in Exeter. May she always be at peace & rest in the arms of the Lord smiling that warm, welcoming smile that always made others feel special and appreciated. SHE LIVED HER LIFE AS A GENUINE EXAMPLE OF GOODNESS & KINDNESS. The world is now a little less brighter now without her.

During my first year of teaching third grade at Blessed Sacrament School in Cambridge, Eileen taught the first grade. Always I remembered her smile and graciousness. I see the same smile in her obit picture. And she loved her Irish roots. Mary Coffey, SNDdeN

Miss Cunniffe was my favorite teacher at EAJHS. She had a serene goodness that radiated from her. I remember starting the school year a little early with her and my best friend so we could help her clean her classroom. Of course she rewarded us by recommending some books to read, and of course with her sweet, encouraging smile. My heartfelt sympathies go out to her family and friends. she was a lovely, lady whose joyful radiance brightened everyone she touched. May her light always shine in our hearts.

Miss Cunniffe, as I knew her back in the 70's at EAJHS has always been such a lovely and caring lady. She was so supportive and thoughtful with her beautiful handwritten cards. I'll never forget her kindness when I was in junior high, I was running competitively and going to California to compete in the Nationals. She stopped by our house and brought me a gift. It was a small trophy and she told me not to be nervous for the race because in her eyes I had already won. That was so incredibly special to me. My sincerest condolences to her family & friends, she was such a beautiful soul. RIP Miss Cunniffe.

Auntie Eileen always had the sweetest way to make you feel special. Whether it was remembering your favorite color, your latest obsession, or a random story you've told her. Nothing you told her was ever too big or too small. She was always someone I called when I had good news to share, as I knew accomplishments always made her so proud! She was a woman who gleamed elegance, timelessness, compassion, and charm. I will miss the way she always greeted every phone call, her kisses through the phone, her giggles, and her beautifully written cards. I love you to the moon and back Auntie! 🤍 Xo, Gilly

I taught with your Aunt in Exeter from 1972-1975. I was an English teacher (my first teaching job) and she was a reading teacher. She took me under her wing. Her kindness and sincerity were a tremendous gift to all of us who worked with her. Leslie Bass
