Teddy's cousins are deeply saddened with the loss of our oldest cousin. He provided the glue, history and many amusing stories of the Mulhern family to each of us. He was wise, supportive and had a wonderful laugh - we will each miss him terribly. Sally Mulhern

Us on the Mulhern side of Ed's family are very saddened to hear of his (and Mary's) recent passing. As the oldest cousin, ("Teddy" to us) displayed how to best lead a fulfilling life of service, kindness, and charity. He'll be truly missed and always in our thoughts and prayers. Rest in peace, Dave Mulhern

I grew up across from Ed and Maryclaire - both of whom were exceptional neighbors & people. I feel lucky to have known Ed and to have lived across the street from the Coyles for many years - always brightening my day with their warm words. - Alison McIntyre

Ed was our neighbor and friend for almost 30yrs. He and Mary were always helping others. He was a Lt. Colonel in the United States Marine and served 2 tours of duty in Vietnam. We loved our conversations and many stories he would share with us. Ed and Mary were true example of love, faith and kindness. We will miss you both so very much and are so very blessed to have had you in our lives. Give Spartacus a hug for us! Rest in Peace Kathleen, Paul Jarred, Devin, Dylan & Olivia DiManno & Houli too!

Growing up across the street from Ed on Brae Burn was a privilege. He set the standard for what a neighbor should be, always pausing to connect and ask how things were going. A great husband, a decorated Marine, and the ideal neighbor. Thank you Ed for always taking care of our dog when we were away and for all the great memories.

We had the pleasure of knowing Ed as a neighbor for 37+ years. He was a very humble man and a man of integrity. He was a Lt. Colonel in the Marine Corps and a Purple Heart recipient. Ed was a devout Catholic, and he lived his faith as a volunteer with disabled people and the homeless. Our world and our little neighborhood is a better place because of Ed Coyle.
