Obituary for Edith Juba Thomas

Edith Patsy Juba-Thomas, 81, of Boston, MA, passed away on June 16, 2025. Born November 20, 1943, in Chatham, Trinidad and Tobago, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.

She is survived by her husband, Claude Thomas, and children Peggy, Roger, Angeline, and Dexter. She was a proud grandmother to April, Angel, Ariann, Jayson, Jerry, Jayda, Jasmine, Joshua, Albert, DeAndre, and Ashleigh, and great-grandmother to Kevin, Kyle, and Michaela.

Edith is also survived by siblings Orville, Timothy, Loris, and Esther, and reunited with those who went before her. Her life was grounded in faith, family, and love.

A Funeral Service will be held Friday, June 27, 2025, at Berea Seventh-day Adventist Church, 108 Seaver St, Dorchester, MA., at at 11:00 o'clock. Visiting Hours, Friday, 10 - 11am at the Church. Interment Oak Lawn Cemetery.
