Eddy Rosario Portorreal (Papi) was born on August 24, 1968 to Ramon Eduardo Rosario and Diomerys Portorreal. He was married to Maria Inmaculada Tavarez in Dominican Republic in 1992. They had three children together: Edwin Rosario, Edili Rosario and Edinson Rosario. He moved his family from La Vega to the United States the summer of 2004 to Boston, Massachusetts for a better better future. In 2005 , a year later they had their last child, Stanley Rosario. In summer of 2021 Eddy was later diagnosed with stage 3 Lung Cancer and after diagnosed with Bronchitis. He underwent a number of Chemotherapy and tests to find out he had a genetic condition that accelerated the cancer, called BRCA2. Which, later lead to him being bed ridden in a matter of weeks! Eddy sadly passed away on April 29th, 2022 after trying to hold strong for his only daughter’s arrival with the newest addition to the Rosario family Edelle (Elle). He will be missed by all the people he has touched, especially all his grandkids: Edianna, Edwin Ezquiel, Luis (Gordo), Ediel, Avyah & Elliot.
