Obituary for Diane Mary Fischer

Diane Mary Fischer, 78, of Sagamore Beach passed away Sunday September 24, 2023.

Loving sister of Dr. Michael J. Fischer of Carson City, NV. Beloved daughter of the late John E. and Patricia F. (Murphy) Fischer.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Visitation Parish, Saint Mary of the Hills Church, 29 Saint Mary's Road, Milton Friday September 29 at 11:00 AM. Family and friends invited. Visiting hour at Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Avenue, EAST MILTON SQUARE, prior to the mass from 9:30-10:30 AM.

    Sending hugs of comfort since I am not there in person. I fondly remember the left handed scroll of her snail mail letters and how Gram truly enjoyed receiving them. Diane encouraged me to read beyond Nancy Drew and gifted me a copy of Hemingway's The Old Man and the Sea. The main character Santiago had a lot of thoughts. Even some of encouragement "Now is no time to think of what you do not have. Think of what you can do with what there is." Rest in Peace Diane. May heaven be filled with DIY projects a plenty!!
