Devon Lawrence of Hyde Park, passed away on September 3, 2022.

Devon Conroy Lawrence was born on March 29, 1963 in Montego Bay, Jamaica. He was born to Father Alvin Lawrence and mom Doris Lawrence who preceded him in death. Devon has three siblings two brothers Edwin Lawrence of Chelsea, MA, Bosworth Henry-Lawrence of Jacksonville, FL and sister Pamela Henry-Lawrence of West Palm, FL.

In 1985 Devon met the love of his life and married his wife Lisa R. Lawrence (Hicks) in 1988. They had four beautiful daughters Dominique Lawrence, Mica Lawrence, Dimyra Lawrence and Danita Lawrence and three beautiful grandchildren Jayden Golden-Lawrence (grandson), Jordyn Golden-Lawrence (granddaughter) and Noelle Ganthier (granddaughter). Devon had two favorite aunts Judith Ricketts and Joan Evans.

Devon was a high-spirited man and strong believer in God. Devon was a proud member of the Local 7 union as an ironworker for over 20 years. One thing about Devon is that no matter where he went he was vibrant and will always make you laugh. Devon was hard worker and a great provider not only to his family but also to the community. Devon’s strength in life was being a genuine and generous giver. He gives without looking for anything in return. He was truly Godly man.
