Daquelle Matthews was born to Lisa Matthews and the Late Dana Seymour. Daquelle was educated in the Boston Public Schools and graduated from McKinley High School Class of “2017”.

Daquelle was employed at UPS and The Cheesecake Factory for several months and was excited about his new Job. He loved eating, running up the stairs, banging on the door saying “Ma open the door it’s me”, and his mother knowing who it was loved to say “Who is it”? “Whose banging on my door”? Daquelle also loved Playing chess and working out. He loved to rap and he loved music, hanging out with his friends, and he enjoyed reading a Good Book. Daquelle loved most being a father and spending time with his children and his family and he absolutely loved being a Big Brother and to be able to say “Ma” Ma can you, Ma can I, Ma, everything Ma. One of The words he loved just as much was Nana, “Nana can you make me some, Rice and Bologna”.

Daquelle was preceded in Eternal Rest by His father The late Dana Seymour and his grandmother The Late Mrs. Seymour….Daquelle leaves to cherish his memories: His devoted Mother Lisa Matthews; His Sisters, Marquetta, Jai-la, Carissa, and Asia; His brothers, Marcus, Jaileen, Dana, Jovohn, Darnell, and Jeraud; His Maternal Grandmother, Wordell Mathews; 1 Aunt; Jaqueline Singleton ; 1 Niece, Mikaja; 1 Nephew Rydell; One special Cousin, Roy; 3 Uncles, Dale, Lannie, and Tony Seymour; His Spouse: Damayah James, their Daughter, Da’Ziyah Mathews and their son Da’zYair Matthews, and longtime friends of the family, Cle’Anthony Allen, T-Y(known to him as Eish), and Ivy Sweeting, all of Boston Massachusetts along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Visiting Hours Wednesday, December 1, 2021 in the Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington Street, DORCHESTER LOWER MILLS, 9-11 am. Funeral Service at 11 o’clock. Interment Oak Lawn Cemetery.
