Charles McLaughlin, of Milton, died peacefully at home, surrounded by family, Friday September 18, 2026.

Beloved husband of the late Mary Elizabeth (Houghton) McLaughlin. Father of James J. McLaughlin and his wife Pauline of Franklin, Ann Marie McLaughlin of Milton and her companion Jack Hansen and John P. McLaughlin of Canton. Grandfather of ten and great-grandfather of four. Born in Urbleraegh, Co. Donegal, Ireland he is the son of the late James and Bridget (Monagle) McLaughlin. Brother of the late William of Toronto, John and James, both of Manchester, UK and Paddy of Urblereagh, Co. Donegal.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of the Visitation Parish, Saint Elizabeth Church, 350 Reedsdale Road, Milton, Friday September 25 at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours at Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Avenue, EAST MILTON SQUARE, Thursday 5-7 PM. Interment Milton Cemetery.

Donations in Charles’ memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
