Obituary for Cecile Elizabeth Gardener
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Cecile Gardener, beloved mother, sister, and friend, who left us peacefully on July 28th, 2025 at the age of 51. Cecile was born on July 11, 1974, in the beautiful parish of St. Ann, Jamaica.
In the 1980s, Cecile journeyed to the United States, where she attended English High School and graduated with pride. Determined to further her education, she completed an accounting program and went on to begin a fulfilling career with Hallkeen Management. Through hard work and dedication, Cecile became an Assistant Property Manager, devoting 16 years of service to the company. She was deeply respected by her tenants, cherished by her coworkers, and known for her warmth, positivity, and unwavering
professionalism.
Cecile’s heart belonged to her family. She was a devoted and loving mother to her two sons, Marcus Allen and Marlon Allen, who were the joy and pride of her life. She is survived by her mother, Amy
Gardener, her brothers Joseph Gardener, Rupert Gardener, and Donald Hall and her sister Sonia Gardener, and was predeceased by her father, Preston Gardener and her brother Daniel Gardener. Cecile was a treasured aunt to many nieces and nephews, and a dear cousin to an extended network of family who loved her deeply.
At home, Cecile’s nurturing spirit extended beyond her human family—she shared a special bond with her beloved dog, Nyla. Whether at work, with family, or among friends, Cecile’s kindness, compassion, and radiant smile left an imprint on every heart she touched.
She will be remembered for her generosity, her boundless love for her children, and the way she brought joy to those around her. Cecile’s presence will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love and care will live on in the lives of all who knew her.
Rest in peace, Cecile—you were truly cherished, and you will never be forgotten.
