Desmond, Catherine T. (Bubba) died peacefully on November 17, 2021, after suffering a stroke at the age of 94.

She was the daughter of John and Sheila Haverty, and the sister of the late Mary Cormican. Bubba was the devoted wife of the late Arthur F. (Red) Desmond and the sister-in-law of the late Josephine Desmond. Cherished mother of Kathleen Desmond (David Van Orden) of Weymouth; Sheila Manning (Jack) of Scituate; Paul Desmond of Braintree and Maura Corso (Bob) of Braintree. Loving Nanny to nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. She also leaves two nieces and a nephew.

Red and Bubba were faithful parishioners of St. Gregory Parish in Dorchester.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday November 23, at 11:00 AM in St. Gregory Church, 2215 Dorchester Avenue. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hour prior 9:30 AM- 10:30 AM in the Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington Street, Dorchester Lower Mills. Interment in Milton Cemetery.
