MACHERAS – Catherine M. (Wyse), age 102 of Quincy, formerly of Dorchester, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 20, 2025, surrounded by family.

Beloved wife of the late John J. Macheras. Devoted mother of James Macheras and his wife Mary of Quincy, Jack Macheras and his wife Vina of Orleans, and Nancy Maguire and her husband Terry of Litchfield, New Hampshire. Loving sister of Mary McGann of Randolph, Margaret McCarthy of Quincy, the late James Wyse, Edmund Wyse and Josephine Megnia. Cherished grandmother of Daniel Macheras, Timothy Maguire and his wife Kate, Jeffrey Maguire and his wife Olivia, Kristin Maguire and her husband John Rabovich, Michelle Greene and her husband Dan, Matthew Macheras and his wife Amanda, and Melissa Lang and her husband Ryan. Also survived by 10 adoring great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, caring extended family and friends.

Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 29th at St. Agatha Parish, 432 Adams Street., MILTON at 10:30 am. Interment in Blue Hill Cemetery, BRAINTREE. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, November 28th at the Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Ave., EAST MILTON SQUARE from 3:00 – 7:00 PM.
