Obituary for Caroline Yowa Tschibelu

With profound sadness and enduring love, we announce the passing of Caroline Yowa Tschibelu, who left us on June 19, 2026.

Born in Paris, France, on February 12, 1977, Caroline lived a life defined by compassion, optimism, and an unwavering commitment to family and friends. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts Boston, received her medical degree from Brown University, and completed her residency in Emergency Medicine at Rutgers University Medical Center in New Jersey.

While Caroline was proud of her medical career, it was her vibrant spirit that truly defined her. She was lively, energetic, and effortlessly stylish, with an infectious smile and a contagious laugh that brightened every room. She approached life with a "glass half full" attitude, finding joy in every opportunity and inspiring those around her to do the same.

Caroline treasured time with family and close friends. She loved discovering new restaurants, traveling to new places, and creating lasting memories over good food, meaningful conversations, and laughter. Her quick wit, sense of humor, and genuine kindness made her the heart of every gathering. She had a remarkable ability to make people feel welcome, valued, and at ease.

To her family, Caroline was an adored mother, wife, daughter, and sister. She was intelligent, thoughtful, funny, and fiercely loyal. As the oldest sibling, she led with love, encouragement, and quiet strength, always looking out for those she loved. Her warmth, generosity, and unwavering support will forever remain a source of comfort and inspiration.

Caroline believed that life's greatest blessings were found in family, friendship, and shared experiences. She taught those around her to embrace each day with gratitude, laughter, and optimism, reminding us that life's simplest moments are often the most meaningful.

She is survived by her devoted parents, Marie-Jeanne and Athie Tschibelu; her husband William, her beloved daughter Sophie, her siblings, Marc-Olivier, Evelyne, and Christian; and many relatives, and friends whose lives were enriched by her kindness and compassion.

Although our hearts are broken by her passing, we are forever grateful for the love she gave, the lives she touched, and the example she set. Caroline's legacy lives on in every memory shared by those who met her and loved her.

She will be deeply missed, forever remembered, loved and always in our hearts.
