  Barry made every room he entered a brighter, happier and more loving place. I loved the way that he could get everybody talking and having fun. So few people have that talent these days.   My deepest Condolences to Barry's wife, mother and family. I only knew Barry as a customer at my bank, but he went out of his way to brighten the day of everyone in here, employee or customer. He even brought us back vanilla from one of his Mexico trips because he knew we loved baking. Barry was a customer we all wanted to take when he came in because his joy and laughter was truly infectious. He was one of the kindest people I ever met. He will truly be deeply missed.

  When I was 6 or 7, my family had a reunion and reserved the back room of an Irish pub that had a huge screen playing the pats game in the snow. It was only one of my few times meeting Barry but it's now been 20 years and I still remember him playing with us the whole night. Just a great guy. I'm happy my uncle was blessed to be his friend. Rest easy Barry. Go pats.

  Barry, the best of friends, the "mayor" of San Francisco, known and loved by everyone who met him. One of my favorite memories was getting tickets from Shirley to the Super Bowl in San Diego and Barry insisting we drive instead of fly with the promise to share the driving with me. Needless to say, I drove the whole way while Barry was sound asleep next to me.
