Barbara Ford in Quincy, formerly of Dorchester, May 8, 2021. Ms. Ford was born in Boston, on May 12, 1946. She attended Girl’s High School in Roxbury. Upon finishing high school Barbara held a few positions but loved being a Home Health Aide. She worked for many years at the Kit Clark Senior Center in Dorchester. Illness forced her to retire early. Barbara enjoyed watching wrestling, game shows and caring for her dearly loved cats. She was preceded in death by her father James Ford, Sr., and her mother Susan (Dean) Ford. Her brothers, James Ford, Jr., Ronald Ford, and brother in law Joseph Bertino. Barbara is survived by her sisters Carol Bertino of Quincy, Roberta Ford of Dorchester, Marion Ford of Brookline, and brother, Edward Ford of Attleboro. She also leaves many nieces and nephews as well as close friends. Visiting Hours in the Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington Street, DORCHESTER LOWER MILLS, Tuesday, May 18, 10 – 11 am.
