Augusto R. Baptista died unexpectedly on October 11, 2022. He was born to Elvira G. & Andre S. Baptista in Fogo, Cabo Verde on November 25, 1959. Beloved father of Alex Buchanan Baptista of Phoenix, Arizona. He is also survived by his siblings and a loving host of nieces, nephews, extended family & many friends. Augusto will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held at the Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Avenue, Milton on Friday, October 21, 2022 from 4-8PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, October 22, 2022 at St. Patrick Church, 400 Dudley Street, Roxbury, MA at 10 AM. Immediately after completion of Mass, Family and Friends are invited to Florian Hall at 55 Hallet Street, Dorchester, MA 02122 to celebrate the life of Augusto with our favorite stories of him and remember his wonderful life. Interment Private.

Foram padrinhos e testemunhas do seu registo de nascimento o avo, Marcelo Quintino Galvao e o tio Silvestre Quintino Galvao, conforme consta no registo de nascimento n 2, folha 103, de 16 de janeiro de 1960.

O nome Augusto, tera sido atribuido em homenagem ao tio-avo, Augusto Nha Martina, homem muito generoso, irma da Nuta, avo materna do Augusto.
