George J. Leary, Jr., age 90, of Milton passed away peacefully on November 28 surrounded by his loving family. George was the devoted and beloved husband of Kathleen (Walsh) Leary for 63 years. George was the son of the late Attorney George J. Leary and Marion (McKenna) Leary. Loving father of Paula Santangelo (Dino) of Wellesley, Kathleen Mulcahy (Jack) of Quincy, Suzanne Preziosi (Mark) of Braintree, George J. Leary, III (late Carolyn) of Braintree, Marybeth Pidgeon of Norwood, Ellen Lawton (Robert) of Braintree and Nancy Leary of Milton. Loving Grampy to Julie, Mark, Michael, Catherine, Paul, Stephen, Caroline, John, Sarah, Laura, Jackie, Bobby, Kevin and Brian and Great Grandfather to Meredith and William. Brother of the late Attorney Daniel F. Leary and Honorable Paul K. Leary. George graduated from Boston Latin School, 1950; Harvard University, 1954 and Boston University Law School, 1957. He was Assistant District Attorney of Suffolk County; Assistant General Counsel of the MBTA; Counsel at Sarrouf, Tarricone & Flemming. George was a lifelong summer resident of Pocasset where he loved spending time with his family and sharing his passion for golf with his close group of friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Agatha Church, 432 Adams Street, Monday, December 5 at 10:30 AM Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours at Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Ave., EAST MILTON SQUARE, Sunday 2-5 PM. Interment Milton Cemetery.
