Obituary for Anthony Allen Williams

Anthony Allen Williams, of Norwood, Massachusetts, passed away on September 11, 2025. He was 60 years old.

Beloved son of Joan Z. Williams. Loving father of Jaunita, Tanisha and Tamryn Williams, as well as grandfather of Myra Giovannangeli. Cherished brother of Charles G. Williams, III. Anthony also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and extended family, who loved him dearly.

Anthony graduated from Catholic Memorial High School, where he was a member of the CM football team. Upon graduation, he continued his education at UMass Boston earning a BS in Computer Science. He was a talented computer programmer and technician, who often volunteered his computer skills to family and friends. In addition to that he was active on several computer platforms. The virtual world introduced him to many new and interesting people, some of whom became his friends.

An avid sports fan, Anthony enjoyed following Bostonโ€™s sports teams. Collecting the teamsโ€™ championship merchandise and being a long-time member of the various Boston team nations were his passions.

Anthony was blessed to be a kidney transplant recipient from a live donor. He received the gift of 20 years of life without dialysis. Anthony and all of us who loved him are grateful to his donor, Timothy Guilfoy, a CM classmate.

We miss Anthony Allen Williams. Rest in heaven.

My dear friend Anthony, I miss you so much, you always made me feel much better about talking to me about my kidneys and what is to come. You helped me not so afraid but now I had an appointment and I don't know what anything means? I wish you were here. I didn't know you left until a week or so later. I was having health issues. No more for you! Hallelujah thank you Jesus! ๐Ÿ™ RIP my good friend. I love ๐Ÿ’• you and will always keep you in my heart. My condolences, thoughts and prayers are with your family and your loved ones. In Jesus name AMEN ๐Ÿ™ โ™ฅ๏ธ๐Ÿค—โ™ฅ๏ธ๐Ÿค—โ™ฅ๏ธ๐Ÿค—๐Ÿ’ฏ๐Ÿ’ฏ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™
