It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Annette (Morante) Gill of Dorchester on January 4, 2022, at the age of 80 years.

A graduate of Emmanuel College, Annette went on to earn her master’s degree at Boston College. Annette taught modern foreign languages in the Boston Public Schools system for over 30 years. She had a profound influence on her students and had a gift to lovingly impact anyone she met.

Annette took great pride in preparing delicious Italian feasts, but enjoyed more sharing the time with friends, family members and loved ones.

Annette will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 54 years, Daniel of Dorchester; sons, Danny & his beloved partner Maureen Lyons of Quincy, David & his dear wife Bethann of Weymouth; grandchildren, Michael, Lauren, Tyler, Lexi; loving sister Louise Morante of Newton and numerous other family members and friends.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend Visiting Hours at the Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington St., DORCHESTER LOWER MILLS, on Monday, Jan 10th, from 8:30 – 9:30 am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Gregory’s Church in Dorchester at 10 am, interment to follow at Blue Hills Cemetery in Braintree.
