Obituary for Wladimir G Adonis

Wladimir (Wlad) Germinal Adonis was born on December 12, 1987 in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti. He was born to Rodolphe Adonis and Marie Denise Raymond Adonis and was the younger sibling of Adelson Adonis, Dimitry and his family, and the older sibling of Francesca Adonis.

Wlad started his secondary education at “College Canado Haitien” in Haiti and moved to the US in 2001 where he continued his education at Randolph High School. He completed his post-secondary education at Cambridge College and Mt. Washington College, obtaining an Associate Degree in Business Management & Computer Science. Wlad worked in the Information Technology field before joining the US Army in 2015. He took great pride and honor in serving a country that had given him so much opportunity.

Most would agree that Wlad was a kind soul, devoted family man, and extremely generous to family and friends. He often takes accountability for his actions in a way that made it hard for anyone to stay angry at him. Affirmations and unconditional affection was Wlad's love language. Although Wlad moved to the US as a teenager, his appreciation and love of the Haitian culture continued to exist.

During the last 10 years of his life, Wlad had fought hard to make everyone in his family proud. He never stopped searching ways to improve his life and become a better exemplary man. He took all the necessary steps to overcome his long endured fight against a multitude of health challenges.

On Wednesday, March 15th, 2023 he suddenly passed away and was called home by the Lord.

Wlad is survived by his mother Denise, brother Adelson Adonis, brother Dimitry and his family, sister Francesca and her family, and a large cohort of beloved cousins, aunts and uncles. On behalf of all of us, we thank all those who offered their sympathies during this time of bereavement.
