So sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Proctor. I only met him a short time ago. But once you are from the hill (Downer Ave) you feel like you pick right back up from years ago. I can tell you that he played the best music and was always singing which he made my day. RIP Mr Proctor.

Bill "Papa" was our neighbor and friend for over 30 years. Kind, quiet, helpful and thoughtful, Papa treated us like family and made us feel loved and protected. He was a good man who will be missed and always remembered. Rest in Peace, Papa. Love, Peter, Madeline, Molly, Deirdre, and Peter Cahill

Uncle Will, you will so be missed because you were loved by so many. We know you had to go because your heart just couldn't live here without Aunti Retta. I will miss our conversations and your stories off growing up with your brothers and sisters in Dorchester. I hope you know how much I loved and appreciated you. I miss you already. Say hi to the family. I'm sure you'll all be having a nice Christmas reunion. I miss them too.

William "Willie" was one of the most "Loving and Caring" persons that I have ever met. A great man: husband, father, grand father ,uncle and friend to "ALL" He will be sorely missed by "ALL" who new him ... Officer Proctor was a "COPS COP" and covered one of the toughest areas in Boston for many years and was respected by "ALL"... May He Rest In Peace For Ever !!!

Maybe the last of the great American Men, he could sing , cook, craft wood, snake electrical, teach us how to worm a hook, take us to watch the Herrin run, wrangle a criminal and still stay up to have a drink with his family. God bless you Uncle Will, love you and thank you.
