Walter Woodson (The Waltman, Grandpop) was born on August 16, 1954 in Boston Massachusetts. He was the son of Walter Woodson Jr. and Irene Allen, he was the third in the family of six Walter was an Insurance Claim Analyst by profession, but to his family, friends, and neighbors he was the “Jokester Magician”. On October 7, 1989 he was wed to Annette Jackson (aka AJ, Annie) from Trinidad and Tobago. From this union were born two beautiful and loving children, Nathaniel M. Woodson and Kiana A. Woodson. He was the greatest dad that God ever created on the earth to his children. He was loved by all for his jokes, dry sense of humor and compassion. You always knew you had his support in your time of need. Walter departed this life on October 9th, 2021. Left to cherish his memory is his wife Annette (AJ) and his two children Nathaniel and Kiana, a Daughter-in-Law Estefanny and his grandson Jody A. Woodson, Brother-in-Laws Leslie, Winston (Helen) and Anthony (Tracy) Jackson, two Sister in laws Marilyn Greenidge and Gillian Sayed and Mother-in-Law Pearl Jackson. He is survived by his brother Charles Allen, sisters Irene and Alena Woodson, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and close family and friends too numerous to mention by name. A Funeral Service will be held at Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington Street, DORCHESTER LOWER MILLS, Thursday, October 14 at 10:00 AM. Family and friends invited. A viewing will be prior to the service from 9-10 AM. Burial Oak Lawn Cemetery.
