Obituary for Valentin Popa

Valentin Popa, 55, of Milton passed away May 25, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved son of Mihai Popa of Milton and the late Florica (Stanescu) Popa.

A Funeral Service will be held at Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington Street, DORCHESTER LOWER MILLS, Tuesday May 30 at 11:00 AM. Family and friends invited. A visiting hour will be held prior to the service from 10-11 AM. Interment Forest Hills Cemetery.

    Sorry to hear about Valentin, just heard this evening that he passed away. He was such a great friend, even though I would see him once a year for many years, during our summer canoe trips and sharing stories and laughter. He would always be volunteering to gather fire wood and help with cooking and any other chores while camping along the Saco River. I am very sorry that I did not know in time to attend his services. He always was someone who everyone liked and appreciated for all the fun times and maintaining our camp fires all night long. With very fond memories, for my good friend Valentin, I am Armand Carbunari
