Tanya Maureen Sinkler Ram was born September 14, 1967, in Boston,
Massachusetts to Mona (Oliver) Sinkler of Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and Robert “Bobby” Sinkler of Eastover, South Carolina. She is the sister of Tina, Tamara (“Tammy”), Robert (Corey), and Taylor Sinkler, all of Boston, MA.

Tanya attended the Endicott Elementary and Thompson Middle Schools
and graduated from Hyde Park High School in 1983. She began working part-time at Bank of Boston (later Fleet Bank and Bank of America) during high school and officially began her full-time professional career with the bank in 1985. There, she ascended the ranks from Customer Service Representative to Research and Adjustments Analyst. She retired in December 2014 after almost 30 years of service.

On January 25, 1990, Tanya gave birth to her first child, Desiree Rose
(Rackard) Cohen in Boston. In the 90's, Tanya met Anthony Steven Ram whom she affectionately called “Steve”. After years of trying to convince themselves otherwise, they realized that they could not live without one another. In 2005, Tanya married her “honey” in a beautiful wedding in Brockton, MA. On August 10, 2006, the Rams welcomed Dayna Laci, their second daughter. They made their home in Hyde Park, MA. Tanya loved many things, including family gatherings, gardening, cooking, and watching the Patriots win football games. but she also loved being a “tete” to her nieces, nephews and younger cousins.

Visitation will be held at the Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington Street, DORCHESTER LOWER MILLS on Friday, September 6th from 10-11AM. Funeral Service to begin at 11AM. Interment at Oak Lawn Cemetery. Relatives and friends invited.
