Stanislaw “Stan” Swiatlowski, of Port Norfolk, Dorchester, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2024 after a long battle of declining health, he had a strong will and fought till the end. He was 72 years old.

Beloved son of the late Mieczyslaw and Cecylia Swiatlowski. Devoted brother of Halina Konka and her husband Marek of Dorchester. Loving uncle of Kasia Savill and her husband Robert of Stoughton and Pete Konka of Dorchester. Cherished great uncle of Julianna and Bobby Savill. Extended family of Joanne and Bruce Desmarais. Stan is also lovingly survived by many cousins and friends in Poland.

Stan was born and raised in Warsaw, Poland. He migrated to the United States in 1990, where he settled with his sister and her family in Dorchester. Stan worked as a machinist for most of his career in manufacturing. He is remembered as a happy guy who always had the best outlook on life, even when things were not going as expected he carried on with a smile on his face. Stan was proud of his Polish Heritage and enjoyed following the Polish sports teams, he liked to watch ski Jumping, tennis and soccer. He enjoyed his crosswords, scratch tickets and reading the Polish magazines. Above all Stan loved spending time with his family, especially with his great niece and nephew who were the cornerstone of his life. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure to have known and loved him.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, May 23rd at 11:30 AM in St. Brendan Church, 593 Gallivan Boulevard, Dorchester.

Visitation prior to Mass 9:30am – 11:00 AM in the Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington Street, Dorchester Lower Mills.

Interment in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester
