Obituary for Sonia Mariam Townsend

Sonia Mariam Townsend died unexpectedly on January 13, 2024. She was born to the late Cora Hurd in Kingston, Jamaica on December 18, 1959.

Beloved mother of Reynell Townsend. Devoted grandmother of Da'Vell Duncan-Townsend and Rondell McClean-Townsend. She is also survived by a loving host of extended relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held at the Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington Street, DORCHESTER LOWER MILLS on Thursday, January 25th from 10-11AM. Funeral Service to begin at 11AM. Interment at Cedar Grove Cemetery. Relatives and friends invited.

Miss Sonya you were such a sweet lady to me from the first tome I met you I could tell you may not have spoken much,but you were strong willed, kind and out spoken when you did speak. Within the times I did get to chat with you you made me laugh , and know you loved your daughter and grands dearly and that you appreciated all Reynell does for you.
