Obituary for Shelvateen Baskerville

Shelvateen Baskervilled of Hyde Park, passed away on February 18, 2025. She was 84 years old.

Beloved wife of Edgar Baskerville. Loving mother of Evelyn, Edgar A., Anjenette, and Sheldon. Five brothers and 3 sisters. Cherished grandmother of Tiffany L. Monteiro, Osiris V. Baskerville, Ilyasa A. Baskerville, Akilah J. Waller and Jalila A. Waller. Also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.

Shelvateen enjoyed cooking, baking, music, arts and crafts and was an avid reader. She had a green thumb in the garden and had a knack of sewing. Most of all Shelvateen loved entertaining her family on the holidays, she family was the true fabric of her life. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure to have known and loved her.

Visiting hours on Friday 10-11 AM in the Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington Street, Dorchester Lower Mills. Funeral Service will be at 11 AM in the Funeral Home.

Interment in Forest Hills Cemetery, Boston.
