Obituary for Shantel Akalia "Chrissy" Gillespie

Shantel Akalia β€œChrissy” Gillespie, 30, of Boston and formerly of Jamaica, passed away December 12, 2024.

Loving daughter of Sandra (McKinson) Bailey of Jamaica and the late Warren-Lee Gillespie. Devoted mother of Zahlee, Zeno and Zarah.

A clinical assistant at Boston Children's Hospital, Shantel was soft spoken and compassionate. She had just completed her nursing degree.

Visiting hours will be held at Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Avenue, EAST MILTON SQUARE, Saturday December 28, 2024 from 2-5 PM. She will be laid to rest in Jamaica.

    Just Remembering back In 2000 I use to Carrie on my neck everyday to school use to look forward to picking her up because she never eats all of her lunch LoL and I would eat what's left it was about a half of a mile walk to school so when I tell you I'm heartbroken it comes with anger then pain I'm going to miss you my sister 😭 love dujan πŸ’•

    Shantel was a hard working young lady very ambitious . Always smiling she was like my daughter she called me MA. We work together at Starbucks. My last conversation was on the 12-9-24. I miss her so much I cried so much when I heard that she pass. My prayers are with her family I ask God to cover her kids and bless them in many ways.
