Jay - we considered Ruth a friend - not a customer She brightened up the day any time she came by And she loved to tell us what adventures you and she had gotten up to She loved that you had that amazing kitchen in Rockport! Our deepest sympathy for your loss She was a bright light in the world and I know you will miss her terribly Mary and Michael ( from the Chimera days )

As a co-worker, Ruth often finished her comments to others with "honey," as in "You better believe it, honey." Panty hose for her were fitting ten pounds of potatoes into a five pound bag. She made no apologies for her decisions and did what she wanted to do. She always had a lively quip and loved Jay and her dogs. I am thankful for having known her. Ty

Jay, Ruth was a truly amazing woman and I am so honored to count her as a very special friend. I will treasure her memory and all that we shared. The world is a dimmer place without Ruth's very bright light.-- a beautiful life taken too soon. The only solace is that she is no longer suffering I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. Love, Joyce Murphy
