Ruth D. Mahoney, a dedicated and compassionate special needs teacher, passed away on her 85th birthday, November 13, 2024. Ruth was born in in Dunkirk, NY, to the late Alex C. and Margaret A. (Baumgartner) Fuller. She resided in Quincy and formerly Milton, MA.

Ruth earned a Bachelor's Degree and pursued a career in the Milton Public School system, where she tirelessly worked to support and uplift students with special needs. Her dedication to her profession extended beyond the classroom, as she was known for her caring and thoughtful nature, always providing a listening ear and a helping hand to those around her.

She is survived by her loving children, John Mahoney III of Milton, Kevin Mahoney of Boston, Megan Mahoney, and Heather Conrad, who will carry her memory in their hearts forever. Ruth is also survived by 3 grandchildren and her sister Jeannette Haynes.

A private funeral service will be held to honor Ruth's life and legacy. She will be laid to rest alongside her parents at Forest Hills Cemetery, Fredonia, NY.
