Robert Lee Morris, age 56 died in Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center-Boston, Sunday, May 15, 2022.

Robert was born November 1, 1965, in Boston. Son of the late James Henry Morris and Leberta Muck Morris. He was an alumnus of Emerson College. He worked at Maximus and prior to that the Boston Globe for many years. He was a former basketball assistant coach at Emerson.

Robert enjoyed being a mentor and motivator to many. He was very active in his community. His hobbies included, dancing, going to the movies, travelling extensively with his wife, playing basketball, collecting, and reading comic books and playing video games. Robert was a member and Vice President of the Ten Fingers men’s support group.

Robert is survived by his wife, Tanya Lewis-Morris. Father of Vincent Lewis-Hayward and Nichole Lewis-Hayward. Son-in-law of Donna Thompson and the late Leonard Thompson. Brother-in-law of Mannix Lewis and his wife Emilia. Grandfather of Hailey, Vincent, Eric, Gabriella, Amarie, Sidney and Conrad. Brother of Lutricia Chapman Greene, Tonya Boston Morris, Zannelle Morris, Tarsha Berry and Robert Lee Boston. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousin, God daughter and God sister and many friends.

Funeral Service in the Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington Street, DORCHESTER LOWER MILLS, 02124, Saturday, May 28, 2022, at 2 pm. Visiting Hours 12- 2pm. Interment Private.
