It is so hard to share just one memory of Grampy in the 16+ years that I knew him, but the one that stands out to me the most is probably 8 or so years ago Grammy was at church and I surprised her when she got home by jumping out of the downstairs bathroom and yelling "Surprise". While I was waiting in the bathroom I could hear Grampy saying "You left me here all by myself with no one to talk to". My favorite moment of that day though would be that when Grammy was gone grampy and I used his old fashion tree trimmer to trim the branches. That sticks with me because Grampy was hanging out the second floor window with his tree trimmer and he said to me "hold onto me". So I was holding onto my 75 year old grandfather while he was hanging out the second floor window cutting branches off the tree outside. Years later when Grammy found out because Grampy told be to not tell her, Grammy was not to happy that Grampy was hanging out the window cutting trees, but it was a nice surprise when she saw me jump out of the bathroom and yell "Surprise". This is one of many great memories that I have with Grampy, but that is by far my favorite one and I will cherish all the memories I've had with him until we meet again.

I will always remember when I was little Grampy and I would go down to the old railroad tracks in Rhode Island by the Cottage and collect railroad spikes. This would later come full circle as we would take many train rides to Philly together to visit Dan, Meg, Danny, Nora, and Charlie in New Jersey. I love you Grampy and will cherish the countless memories we made together.
