Obituary for Richard O’Brian Jarrett
Richard O’Brian Jarrett, affectionately known as Wayne, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2025, at the age of 58. Born on April 9, 1966, in Tower Hill, St. James, Jamaica, Wayne lived a life filled with love, dedication, and generosity.
A devoted husband, Wayne shared 31 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Teesha. Together, they built a beautiful family and were blessed with two children, Andrew and Abygale, who were his pride and joy.
Wayne was the cherished son of Karl Jarrett and the late Stephney Jarrett. His roots in Tower Hill shaped his values of resilience and community, which he carried with him throughout his life.
Wayne’s legacy is one of unwavering love for his family, a deep sense of kindness, and a commitment to those around him. He will be remembered for his warm smile, his steadfast faith, and his ability to bring people together.
He leaves behind a loving family, close friends, and all who were touched by his genuine spirit. Wayne’s memory will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be held at the Faith Christian Church, 301 Harvard Street, DORCHESTER on Saturday, January 18 from 10-11AM. Funeral Service to begin at 11AM. Relatives and friends invited.
