Bro. Raphael, was an unassuming man of God. He didn't talk much, but when he did speak it was because he had something profound to say. He was plain spoken and firm in his convictions. When I extended my hand for a shake, he would politely say, "No hand sake. Give me a hug." I will always remember how he faithfully supported his pastor and the local church.

To my uncle Lanso, Oh, how I am going to miss you so much. You always called on Mother's Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas with your favorite line, "Hello, hello Boston is calling" As a little girl you was one of the first Christian I ever knew. You were a Godly man, you stood for the faith. I will never forget you. You was always honest and straight forward about everything. You have fought a good fight, 2 Timothy 4:7. You have finish your course and you have kept the faith. Thank you Uncle Lanso for showing me how to walk by faith. You will be forever be missed, love you Uncle Lanso. Dr. Elaine Carty
