Phigerne Eugene of Boston, age 97, sunset March 1, 2021 at Parkway Health and Rehabilitation Center in West Roxbury.

Prior to moving to Boston 17 years ago he was born in Boneau, Haiti December 1, 1923. He was the son of Madestine (Victor) Eugene and Gerneus Eugene. Husband of the late Aceliza (Alcee) Eugene.

Phigerne was the father of Joaneuse Eugene Denis of New Jersey, Raymond Eugene of Boston, Anostin Eugene of Boston, Felix Eugene of Haiti, Fritznel Eugene of Haiti, Manes Eugene of Boston, Armand Eugene of the Bahamas, Yvener Eugene of Haiti, Bernadette Eugene of Florida and the late Stephen Eugene.

He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins, nephews and nieces from Boston, New Jersey, Florida, Maryland, Bahamas, and Haiti.
