Paula graduated from Milton High School in 1965 and Aquinas College in Milton in 1968 where she met lifetime friend Gail O’Brien. She was great at keeping in touch with friends. She went on to be a medical secretary for many years until she retired and moved to Florida in 2007.

She was past president of the Milton Junior Woman’s Club and St Mary of the Hills Guild. She was a member of the Fogg-Roberts American Legion Post and the Weymouth Fraternal Order of Eagles where she spent time with friends and volunteering for many veterans’ events.

Paula organized many social and charitable events in Milton including monthly “tea” parties with her friends in Milton. Paula loved being with her family and was very close to her sister, Nancy, who was always a mentor and her best friend. Paula spent summers on Cape Cod as a youth where her family had a home. She continued to enjoy going down the cape for years to follow.

Paula enjoyed going to Boston College football games during the Doug Flutie years and attended the “Miracle in Miami”. She was the queen of tailgating. She was an avid Boston sports fan and loved watching Tom Brady and the Patriots. Dwight Evans of the Boston Red Sox was a lifelong crush.

She loved music. Her favorite song was It’s My Party by Leslie Gore. She loved Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons and the Beach Boys. She enjoyed cruises to Bermuda with her husband, Ray.

Prior to moving to Florida in 2007 and thereafter, Paula and Ray played a vital role in their granddaughter, Nicole’s life. They cherished their time with her as a child and were so proud of her.

After moving to Florida, she enjoyed “happy hour” every day at 5 at the pool with her new friends at Seagate. She was a social butterfly and made many friends.

Paula had a zest for life and until she suffered a stroke in 2021, she enjoyed weekly Sunday visits to the Banana Boat on the Intracoastal with Dawn and Mike.

Paula spent the last several years at home living with her daughter and caregiver, Dawn. In the last years of her life, she enjoyed watching game shows, reading, and doing crossword puzzles and watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. She loved going out to get her hair and nails done. Home was her happy place and she was grateful for her life with her daughter. Her favorite movies were Fever Pitch, An Affair to Remember and Going in Style. You would usually find her watching one of these movies on a Saturday.

Paula put up a gallant fight and passed away as the sun rose on a beautiful Florida morning. The rays of sun shone through over the ocean welcoming her into her eternal resting place. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

I am so sorry for your loss, I worked with Paula at Smiths Level 1 in Richland. Paula and I had a great time working together. We were both raised in Milton and graduated from MHS. I also knew Galen thru Milton friends. Paula was a fun loving person and made me laugh every day. She spoke so highly of her family and loved you all very much. Rest in heavenly peace Paula my friend. With love to you Dawn and family. ❤️❤️
