Patricia N. “Trish” (Curtin) Burns, age 56, a longtime resident of Whitman, formerly of Quincy and Dorchester, died peacefully, Saturday, November 2, 2024 in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Trish was born in Dorchester, raised and educated in Dorchester and Milton schools. She was a graduate of Saint Peter’s Elementary School in Dorchester, Fontbonne Academy in Milton, Class of 1987, and Westfield State College in 1992. She lived in Whitman for twenty-eight years.

Trish was a devoted homemaker, loving wife, and mother. She was dedicated to her husband and two sons, actively supporting all their many activities and accomplishments.

She was an avid reader and enjoyed all the Harry Potter classics. She loved doing needlepoint and created many items for family and friends.

Loving daughter of Norah M. (Kennedy) Curtin of Quincy and the late Michael J. Curtin.

Dear sister of Mary Curtin Parker and her husband James of Sudbury, the late Rich Curtin and his surviving wife Donna of East Bridgewater.

Trish is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Peter’s Church, 311 Bowdoin Street, Dorchester, on Friday, November 8, at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours will be held at the Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Avenue, East Milton, on Thursday, November 7, from 4 – 7 p.m. Interment private.
