Patricia (Garland) Foley, 79, of Whitman and formerly of Dorchester and Quincy passed away October 6, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.

Pat, as she was known by family and friends, was a graduate of Cardinal Cushing High School in 1962. She worked for over 20 years for what is now Verizon, as an executive secretary, retiring in 2003.

Pat loved life, and filled it with her passions for travel, music, dancing, and gatherings with family and friends. She always looked for the good in people, had a great sense of humor, and could always see the silver lining.

Loving mother of James P. Foley and his wife Kristen of Blackstone, Sean Foley of Ashland, and Sheila Foley of Whitman. Cherished grandmother of Savannah, Fiona, and Makena Foley and beloved sister of Kathleen Zangla of Weymouth and William Garland of Quincy. Auntie Pat was also blessed with many nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly.

Visiting hours at Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Avenue, EAST MILTON SQUARE, Wednesday October 11 from 4-7 PM with a Funeral Home Service being held on Thursday October 12 at 11:00 AM. Family and friends invited.
