Nancy “Sand” “NanHan” Ann Jenkins was a caring mother, mother-in law, sister, aunt, and friend. She left this world on February 16, 2022, at age 75 surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born to Ms. Peggy Jenkins on September 27, 1946, in Eutawville, South Carolina. Nancy attended Eutawville Public Schools and completed her education at Roberts High School. At an early age, Nancy became a member of Spring Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Eutawville, South Carolina. In 1965, she moved to Boston, Massachusetts, where she worked various jobs before being hired at Marion and Ruth in Giftware where she worked for more than 10 years. In 1978, she began her career at Shreve Crump & Low. Nancy went on to become the Special-Order Coordinator for Tabletop & Giftware for the next 30 years until her retirement.

Nancy attended St. Paul A.M.E. Methodist Church in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where she became a member in the early 2000s. In her spare time, Nancy enjoyed walking around her beloved city of Boston, watching football (Go Pats), and spending time with her family. Nancy’s warmth, smile, support, and overall positive energy will be profoundly missed.

Nancy is survived by her daughter, Peggy Jenkins- Toomer (Eddie); sister Nellie Jenkins; brothers Paul Milton (Ruth), and Charles Jenkins (Rosemary), and a host of cousins, nephews, nieces and friends. She is preceded in death by her siblings Michael, Gloria, and Robert Jenkins.
