Words cannot express the emotional rollercoaster one feels and go thru during this difficult part of the journey of life. Monie and I met at the tender age of 12 and our relationship blossomed and grew as we did. We were blessed with each other through the trials, triumphs, joy, tears, laughter and all the awesome escapades and experiences we shared. We had a bond that was special, unique and heartfelt. I will miss her dearly. I will miss the ringing in my ear, " Ahh Nina" she called me loving, because her sweet daughter Nicole called me Nina as she tried to say SaBrina. The trust she had in me to care for her precious new baby, (if you knew Monica!) There are so many memories which floods my mind and heart, I could go on, and on. 46 years we were blessed to share our walk-in life we definitely became more than friends we were family. Ms. D and Nicole may God's spirit of comfort and peace engulf you and bless you with all you need to endure this delicate and difficult part of your journey in life. I'm at a loss for words. In high school me you and Wendy hung out, cut class , was cheerleaders for High Park High together. Man we had so many memories. I remember getting pregnant at 17 and ask you to be my son's Godmother, you came to the baby shower with so many gifts for him. I still have the photos from that day. We lost contact over the years but reconnected over a birthday text I sent you. What a beautiful person inside and out. Gone way to soon. I'm gonna miss that beautiful smile.
